A strong smell of weed smoking is very strong upon entry. Glass doors and windows were extremely dirty. An adjacent room had apparently had some flooding in the restroom that caused water to reach all the way in the hall. It was 4 days before the cones were removed and the carpet was addressed which caused a bad odor in the hallway. "The place had a subdued elegance from century past. The furniture was old but well maintained. The room we stayed in was spacious. We did not have the weekend brunch since we had other breakfast plans - but we walked past the food that was being served and it looked great. We did spend some time in the lounge and had some drinks. The selection of beer was good, and the mixed drinks were done well."

"How about I booked for the weekend and didn’t stay 1 hour! You couldn’t pay me to get in that hot tub or the shower and things were falling apart around us but clearly the remedy was blue painters tape. Never again! Book at your own risk!"
